Everything You Need to Know
Most windshield replacements take approximately 1-2 hours from start to finish. The actual installation process usually takes about 45-60 minutes. However, the adhesive used to secure the windshield needs time to cure. You'll need to wait at least 1 hour before driving, and we recommend avoiding high speeds and rough roads for 24-48 hours. The adhesive reaches full cure strength in approximately 7 days.
Chip repairs are typically completed in 30 minutes or less. The process involves cleaning the damage, setting up the repair equipment, injecting the resin, and curing it with UV light. Once complete, you can drive your vehicle immediately. The repaired area will be much stronger than before and the damage will be significantly less visible.
Yes! We work with most major insurance companies and can handle the claims process for you. Many insurance policies cover auto glass repair with little to no deductible. We'll verify your coverage, handle all the paperwork, and bill your insurance directly. This makes the process hassle-free for you. Just provide us with your policy information when you schedule your appointment.
Absolutely! We offer mobile service throughout our service area. Our fully equipped service vehicles can handle most windshield replacements, chip repairs, and side window replacements at your home, workplace, or other convenient location. A small service fee may apply for mobile visits, though this fee is often waived for windshield replacements. Mobile service is subject to weather conditions and adequate space for our vehicle and equipment.
We use only OEM-quality (Original Equipment Manufacturer) replacement glass that meets or exceeds the specifications of the original glass installed by your vehicle's manufacturer. This ensures proper fit, optical clarity, and structural integrity. We carry a wide inventory of glass for most domestic and foreign vehicle brands. If we don't have your specific glass in stock, we can usually source it within 24-48 hours.
The cost of windshield replacement varies depending on your vehicle's make, model, and year. Generally, prices start around $250 for standard windshields and can go up to $500+ for luxury vehicles with special features like heads-up displays or camera systems. If you have insurance coverage for auto glass, your out-of-pocket cost may be just your deductible—or potentially nothing at all. We provide free estimates, so contact us for a specific quote for your vehicle.
Chip repairs typically cost between $65 and $150, depending on the size and type of damage. Many insurance companies will waive the deductible for repair, meaning you pay nothing out of pocket. Even without insurance, repair is significantly more affordable than full replacement and can often be completed in less time than it takes to fill up your gas tank!
General guidelines suggest replacement when:
- Cracks are longer than 6-12 inches
- The damage is within 12 inches of the driver's edge
- Cracks extend to the edge of the glass
- The damage has penetrated both layers of glass
Repair is usually possible when:
- Chips are smaller than a quarter (about 1 inch)
- Cracks are short (under 6 inches) and not in the driver's line of sight
- The damage hasn't spread significantly
However, these are just guidelines—our technicians will assess your specific situation and recommend the best solution.

ADAS stands for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. Modern vehicles often have front-facing cameras mounted to the windshield that power features like:
- Lane departure warning
- Forward collision warning
- Automatic emergency braking
- Adaptive cruise control
- Traffic sign recognition
When your windshield is replaced, the camera position must be precisely recalibrated to ensure these safety features work correctly. We offer ADAS calibration services and use proper equipment to verify that your vehicle's safety systems are functioning properly after replacement.
